SINGLE-ENTRY ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

The single-entry accounting system is based on simpler methods of recording business operations. This is an easier and cheaper way of bookkeeping, suitable primarily for smaller businesses.

Single-entry accounting can be kept by individuals and – if none of the partners is a legal person – private partnerships, general partnerships and professional partnerships. The condition is, however, that these entities did not achieve net revenues exceeding the equivalent of EUR 2 000 000 in Polish currency in the previous year.

Our firm settles the accounts of entrepreneurs who keep their revenue and costs register and income registry for lump-sum tax.

In the scope of the single-entry accounting system:

  • we keep a revenue and costs register
  • we keep records of income registry for lump-sum tax
  • we keep records of fixed assets
  • we prepare and send VAT declarations and JPK to the Tax Office

FULL ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

A full accounting system is mandatory for capital companies, limited partnerships, limited joint-stock partnerships and, if at least one of the partners is a legal person, for general partnerships, professional partnerships and private partnerships. In addition, regardless of the form of business activity, full accounting is mandatory for entities that in the previous year achieved net revenues exceeding the equivalent of €2,000,000 in Polish currency.

This system involves the detailed recording of all financial transactions, their classification and analysis, and the preparation of comprehensive financial statements. It is a time-consuming process and requires advanced accounting knowledge, and is mainly suitable for businesses with a larger scale of operations and complex organizational structures.

In the scope of the full accounting system:

  • we keep books of accounts in accordance with the Accounting Act
  • we examine received documents in terms of formality and inform the client about the observed deficiencies or defects
  • we prepare monthly statements of turnover and balances
  • we keep records of fixed assets
  • we determine the amount of advance payments for corporate income tax
  • we inform the client about records that should be kept independently at the place where the activity is carried out
  • we provide the necessary information resulting from the accounting books
